Peach Perfect!

Okay, so I haven’t seen Pitch Perfect. Sue me. Lol jk I’ll be downloading a torrent in a while. Shhhh :> I’ve decided to name this post ‘Peach Perfect’ because of my outfit. You’ll figure out in a while ❤

Before that, I spent the whole day at my cousin’s house cos it’s Patrice Anne’s 17th birthday! It seems as if it was only yesterday that she was the semi-bald kid carried around by our aunt, now she’s a year away form legalization. How time flies so fast. 😦 :)))))

That’s her, behind me. She’s not really fond of taking (decent) photos. HAHAHA Happy birthday, Patrice Anne! I love you to the ends of the world. ❤ The best part of this day was the…….

709001058Chocolate fountain!!!! Yeeeyyyy we had sort of a mini-fondue party! We dipped Strawberries, Grapes, Breads & Marshmallows in the hot melted chocolate. I am so in love!

Anyway, outfit!

I wore a flowy cotton blue shirt and paired it with my new peach shorts from H&M! 🙂 I had a hard time looking for something to pair my shorts with cos I couldn’t find a thing in my closet! #bloggerproblems Luckily, I found the top on the farthest end of it. Yey!

HPIM0019

HPIM0017I love love my new black leather bag from Hong Kong. It was actually given to me by my auntie’s best friend and I instantly loved it because of the spikes at the end of it plus, the form was different from other bags I own.

HPIM0030My shoes, obviously, had been used to so many times, the dirt patch on the left shoe proves it. But I love it nonetheless, considering it was super cheap and super functional! ❤

HPIM0032

Feeling light and breezy, I opted to wear less accessories – I love the small belt I had on, it’s super cute. 🙂

The feel of this outfit is pretty care-free considering I had to go from my cousin’s house, to SM Center Las Pinas to meet up with a fashion blogger BarcodeMNL is collaborating with and the back (whew!) so functionality and hassle-free is perfect for this day. 🙂

Christmas Gift

Ho ho ho Merry Christmas! & merry new outfit post! 🙂 Yeeyy it has been such a long time but hey now, it is now here. :>

Yesterday, I went to by myself an iPhone as my Christmas gift–it was a well-deserved one considering I was multi-tasking the whole year round. Lol thanks, mum for chipping in. Hahaha! Anyway, last night, my bestfriend friend, 2012 Candy Correspondent Jona Fernandez told me that the new Christmas color was Teal! Coincidentally that is what I wore to the mall. Yey!

HPIM0009

HPIM0010

I just love my whole ensemble. Don’t you? I wore a knitted top & skin tight jeggings in teal! Fun fact: my knitted top belonged to my auntie in the early 90’s. Vintage. Sort of. :>

HPIM0011My arm candies, of course. 🙂 The last one actually is my favorite skull bracelet. I have a lot of them in my trinket box but decided to just wear the colorful one. You’ve seen the other two from my last outfit post though. 🙂

HPIM0012

And the cute, Like A Sir ring my bestfriend, Joanne gave me. So cute!

HPIM0014My wedges are from the US. I just love how Orange brightens up the whole outfit and it doesn’t hurt that it matches teal so very well. I’m super psyched!

My Christmas eve wasn’t very interesting at all. I went to my cousin’s house to meet for BarcodeMNL then went back home for Noche Buena then slept HAHAHA I honestly think that the older I get, the smaller gifts I get huhuhu but I also believe that Christmas is not about receiving– it is always about giving. :> Always. How was your Christmas? 🙂

It’s a happy day

It’s a happy day. Congratulations to Ms. Philippines Janine Tugonon for winning first place in this year’s Miss Universe pageant. Unfortunately, Miss USA, Olivia Culpo took home the crown but nonetheless, every Filipino around the world are happy for the 23 year old Filipina’s achievement.

But the thing that made me really happy is that finally, Patricia Prieto of Paradigma has featured our t-shirt brand on her blog.

We’ve been waiting for such big break ever since we started planning the concept. We hope that in the future, we’d have more collaborations with other fashion bloggers. 🙂 Check us out on Facebook, here or follow us on twitter here. Also, follow Patricia Prieto’s twitter here and read the feature here.

Cheap dinner & good company

It has been a long time since I posted something relevant. I’ve been pretty busy with a number of stuff (UAAP work, #BarcodeMNL & school. Whew!) so blogging is in somehow at the bottom–if not, in the middle–of my priority list, but it is still in the list. Haha! So now, here I am posting something about a spontaneous date with my bestfriend. ❤ What I love most about this night was that she was pretty patient with my endless stories about Wesley, Phil and Ted of Wong Fu Productions. Hahaha! 🙂 If you follow me on Twitter you’d now that I’m in love with them and Ted Fu (my fave!) tweeted me back. Yey

Sooooo, today was the start of my preliminary examination and I had four consecutive exams to attend to and I can honestly tell you it was very exhausting. I thank God that Joanne was free tonight so we were able to just hang out. We ate at McDonalds for dinner ❤ Then after that, we swung by my house to lend her my copy of Ramon Bautista’s Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo.

Yeahp, I finally bought that and I was so happy because it included a notebook! If you knew me, you’d know I love papers. All kinds of papers! Haha 🙂 And yes, the background was UAAP volleyball. I just wanted to do something ironic. 😛 Anyway, so while we were walking to my house, Joanne spotted this cool lighting on a door next to my house, so we decided to experiment (what we do best holla). It came out pretty good! I think….. Lol thank you to my HP camera cos Joanne forgot hers. 😦 Sad.

I didn’t change the color much cos I loved the soft tone effect it had + on the last photo, we looked whiter than our usual skin tone. Hihi With regards to my out fit, I didn’t really do anything (obviously) cos when I got home from school, I threw on anything within reach, sadly. 😦 but I still liked it since it’s just kind of a laid-back spontaneous nearby dinner.

I’ll end this post with a cover of The Power of Love by Gabrielle Aplin. Joanne has been raving about this since the start of our dinner. Lol

BarcodeMNL x Tumblr

In line with out current project, we have already put up our official website. It doesn’t contain much now but when we launch BarcodeMNL on December, we will be posting our collections and other necessary things. 🙂 Now though, you can find blog posts for more information on us and updates. We can’t wait to unveil BarcodeMNL!!! x

Please cast your vote for our first collection here. Thanks guys!

Throwback

I’ve noticed that there have been a lot of tweeting photos from the past and calling it as ‘throwback’. It inspired me to visit my multiply site and throwback (well, annoy people with ugly and awkward photos).

I’ll be posting my fave photos! Lol suck it, friends.

There are people here that I haven’t been in touch for a long time. I may or may not be holding my cell right now and dialing their numbers.

Frenchies

I don’t even know why I named this blog post that. I’m out of it. Anyway, yesterday, I visited San Beda – Alabang (my former school) to accompany my bestfriend because she had to pick up her grades and check if she had things to do for her clearance.

We hang out at one of the gazebos–the place took me back to my freshman year (which was only months ago, but feels like eternity has passed. Wooo!) where we killed hours and hours of vacant periods there playing cards, Monopoly Deal, tweeting (each other), doing last minute school works and just fooling around. It made me miss a lot of people.

So after a few minutes of reminiscing, we went to have milk tea (been craving for it in weeks!!!!) at this place along President Avenue inside BF Homes.

Yeahp, it’s Bon Appetea! 🙂 Oh now I remember why I named this blog ‘Frenchies’ because the milk tea place’s name was derived from a French word. Right. Okay. Hahahaha! Wow, my memory is falling too fast these days. I need some vitamins. Lol Anyhoo, as usual, it was always hard to pick which milk tea to try. They have a lot to offer.

I went with my guts and got the Melange one which was a mixture of Assam black tea, Toffee and Hazelnut. It was delish! Kind of sweet though–just the way I like it! Mmmmmm hihihi

It was a lazy day that afternoon (and very rainy, I might add!:-() so, I just wore a very simple outfit. A pair of skinny jeans, my favorite pink flats from Mario D Boro and a vintage plaid button-down polo which I stole from my granddad’s closet. Yes, granddad. It was very masculine but I love it cos it made me feel like he was with me rather than miles away in California. Speaking of him, he celebrated his 81st birthday the day before yesterday. Spent it with my family and ate the feast that awaited in front of me! You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure why I gained so so so much weight! Huhuhu

All the photos in this post (except the one below) are from my new 14-megapixel HP camera. I love how the colors in the pictures are soft and relaxing.

What I love most about this camera is that it’s 1) very handy! Very very light. You could take it anywhere if you’re getting tired of lugging around your dSLR. 2) It has a lot of scenes. It even has a lomo function (my favorite!!!) which was used in this one:

Right, so cool right? 🙂 Love love love the color and the effect! Back to the task at hand, I like the ambiance in this branch of Bon Appetea but too bad they didn’t have wi-fi so my Blackberry and I were kind of sad that time 😦 but my tummy is. very. Hahaha Joanne told me that the branch near the PCJ church (still inside BF Homes) is better, so you might want to check that out too!

Bon Appetea has a lot of branches nation wide! Check out their website: here to know where the nearest  milk tea to you. Also, follow them on Twitter here or like their Facebook page here.
