Vamps x Werewolves Part 2

Guess who won two free tickets to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere? I did!!!! Omgggg yeeeeeey Don’t judge. Just so everyone knows, I was never really a fan of Twilight but I did read them all books so the main reason why I wanted to watch this is because I’m so freaking curious on how Reneesme turned out, how Bella (as a vamp) acts and how it looks like when Jacob “imprints” on Edward and Bella’s only daughter.

Yesterday morning, I received a tweet from @KedsPH that I won tickets to see the movie first. I was surprise because the mechanics to  score them was to just tweet Camille Co & Keds and I figured there would be a lot who will submit, luckily I was one of them. This was the second time I won giveaways over the internet. Yeeeey I’m starting to believe I’m good at this. Lol

The first one I texted was my bestfriend who of course, I wanted to see it with but unfortunately, she has a class tomorrow. 😦 So I’m looking for someone to see it with. Will you be my date? Lol 🙂 I can’t wait to blog about this event! Omg worthy.

The Big Bang Theory

\When my 13 year old eyes laid down on the new K-Pop group, Big Bang, I was instantly in love. I honestly didn’t know what their songs meant but every time I sing along to Tae Yang‘s lyrics, G-Dragon‘s electrical composition or even rapping along T.O.P‘s, I knew that I didn’t want any other Korean boy band.

It was actually my then 18 year old cousin who got me hooked. I remember one time, we were inside the car, on our way to Tagaytay that the only songs blasting from our earphones are those of Big Bang’s. It was a very wild obsession–from simply listening to songs to watching music videos and TVCs to watching (and patiently downloading) Youtube videos of their many Television show guesting and as huge as buying a DVD of their Global Warming Tour (2008).

Since being a V.I.P, I’ve always wished they’d go here in the Philippines and throw a big concert and they actually did weeks ago and I was very VERY disappointed to not have to go. So I just had to settle down with watching their (fairly) old music videos and sing along. Le tears 😦 but the week before their concert, I actually bought a local magazine with them on the cover; I was mindlessly scanning through books and magazines at Book Sale when I went across Sparkling Magazine (published by Summit Media) October issue without thinking, I grabbed it and headed for the counter to pay 150 bucks for a 60+ paged glossy magazine. I actually might regret it soon. Eep!

Bigbang labelmate, 2NE1’s Dara (more known in the Philippines as Sandara Park) is on the flipside cover of the magazine.

YG Entertainment Empire – where top Korean Artists came from like BigBang, 2NE1, Psy and Boys Over Flowers’ Geum Jan Di (Goo Hye Sun) and many many more!

Maybe, if I’d wish again, they’ll come back for another concert. I’m pretty good with these wishes, they might actually come again. Lol So in the mean time, I’m leaving you with my fave music videos from the start of their career.

Throwback

I’ve noticed that there have been a lot of tweeting photos from the past and calling it as ‘throwback’. It inspired me to visit my multiply site and throwback (well, annoy people with ugly and awkward photos).

I’ll be posting my fave photos! Lol suck it, friends.

There are people here that I haven’t been in touch for a long time. I may or may not be holding my cell right now and dialing their numbers.

Frenchies

I don’t even know why I named this blog post that. I’m out of it. Anyway, yesterday, I visited San Beda – Alabang (my former school) to accompany my bestfriend because she had to pick up her grades and check if she had things to do for her clearance.

We hang out at one of the gazebos–the place took me back to my freshman year (which was only months ago, but feels like eternity has passed. Wooo!) where we killed hours and hours of vacant periods there playing cards, Monopoly Deal, tweeting (each other), doing last minute school works and just fooling around. It made me miss a lot of people.

So after a few minutes of reminiscing, we went to have milk tea (been craving for it in weeks!!!!) at this place along President Avenue inside BF Homes.

Yeahp, it’s Bon Appetea! 🙂 Oh now I remember why I named this blog ‘Frenchies’ because the milk tea place’s name was derived from a French word. Right. Okay. Hahahaha! Wow, my memory is falling too fast these days. I need some vitamins. Lol Anyhoo, as usual, it was always hard to pick which milk tea to try. They have a lot to offer.

I went with my guts and got the Melange one which was a mixture of Assam black tea, Toffee and Hazelnut. It was delish! Kind of sweet though–just the way I like it! Mmmmmm hihihi

It was a lazy day that afternoon (and very rainy, I might add!:-() so, I just wore a very simple outfit. A pair of skinny jeans, my favorite pink flats from Mario D Boro and a vintage plaid button-down polo which I stole from my granddad’s closet. Yes, granddad. It was very masculine but I love it cos it made me feel like he was with me rather than miles away in California. Speaking of him, he celebrated his 81st birthday the day before yesterday. Spent it with my family and ate the feast that awaited in front of me! You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure why I gained so so so much weight! Huhuhu

All the photos in this post (except the one below) are from my new 14-megapixel HP camera. I love how the colors in the pictures are soft and relaxing.

What I love most about this camera is that it’s 1) very handy! Very very light. You could take it anywhere if you’re getting tired of lugging around your dSLR. 2) It has a lot of scenes. It even has a lomo function (my favorite!!!) which was used in this one:

Right, so cool right? 🙂 Love love love the color and the effect! Back to the task at hand, I like the ambiance in this branch of Bon Appetea but too bad they didn’t have wi-fi so my Blackberry and I were kind of sad that time 😦 but my tummy is. very. Hahaha Joanne told me that the branch near the PCJ church (still inside BF Homes) is better, so you might want to check that out too!

Bon Appetea has a lot of branches nation wide! Check out their website: here to know where the nearest  milk tea to you. Also, follow them on Twitter here or like their Facebook page here.

Fridate x Ravioli Bistro x Bestfriend

It has been a long time since my bestfriend from highschool, Joanne and I hung out so we had dinner last night in Mall of Asia. The best way to celebrate the last day of my semester 🙂

So we decided to eat at this secluded Italian restaurant, Bistro Ravioli. Their pasta dishes are really good! Joanne made a food review in her blog (here). I think we ate too much hahaha but all so worth it! 🙂

But before we dined in Bistro, we bumped into one of our closest friend, Aya Pornel who was really really sweet because she treated us to an ice cream and fondue party @ Swensen’s. Isn’t she the best? We love you, Ayabols!!! 🙂 & you are totally adorable! Hihihi

Then we compared BBM display photos–Aya’s or mine? Manny Pacquiao or Adam Levine? Lol I’m sorry, Adam but I think I’m going with Aya’s Manny Pacquiao ❤ HAHAHAHA

For my look that night, I didn’t want to be so dressed up but also, not super dressed down. I opted for jeans and a cute sheer blouse I got from a thrift store in Pasig. I wore my trusted pair of flats which was in a summer-y color cos I got it last summer from SM Department store! 🙂

Love love love my newly purchased gumdrop bracelets. I saw these (well, the skull ones but similar) from my favorite fashion blogger, Patricia Prieto but I bought these instead thinking I should start from the basics 🙂

| Navy Blue sheer blouse: thrifted | denim jeans: 7 jeans (7 For All Man Kind) | Orange flats: Solemate | Watch: Timex | Candy bracelets: Blanca |

Thank you to my wonderful bestfriend for all of the shots in this post! Love you!!! 🙂

Admit it, there’s that one thing you wanted to do for a very long time now. I suggest you do it now because there are only two ways it would end up to: 1) The great sense of achievement. 2) A big case of ‘would’ve been’. There’s no harm in trying.

Thought for the day. Have a great one! x

Event: Grand Bazaar

Recently, I’ve been to the mall to look around and just as I was about to leave, it blasts through the department store speakers! My first Christmas song since the ‘-ber months’ have started. I don’t remember what song it was but it definitely reminded me that Christmas is more or less 90 days away! One question: have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

Didn’t think so. You might want to check this out!

Isn’t this the best place to shop and avoid Christmas shopping rush? Fab finds and good food, what more can you ask for?

Plus, it’s fully airconditioned so you don’t have to worry about getting all sweaty while trying to figure out what to give that special someone! Save the dates & bring tons of friends to the Grand Bazaar @ the Elements Tent at Centris 2012!!! Maybe, you’d get to spot me there too xxx
